Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Technical Regional Manager to join our industry-leading sales team. This senior-level position is responsible for driving revenue and profit growth in targeted accounts, with a focus on the mining industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business, financials, products/services, and market needs, along with significant sales experience and technical expertise.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8 years of technical sales or field sales support experience
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
  • Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience needed

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to close new opportunities in existing and major accounts.
  • Lead and mentor a team of District Representatives, champion corporate initiatives, and plan and lead portions of district meetings.
  • Build strong relationships with current and prospective customers, understanding their business needs and recommending improvement plans.
  • Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving challenges to ensure optimal performance.
  • Actively promote innovative technologies to foster long-term business relationships.
  • Partner with Corporate Account Managers to close strategic, multi-location corporate accounts.
  • Stabilize jeopardy business in large, strategic accounts and expand market share through strategic planning.
  • 50% overnight travel required
