We are now seeking a Processing Plant Technician to join our Processing team at Tropicana Gold Mine on a permanent basis. Accountable to the Processing Superintendent, this role is responsible for operating designated fixed plant infrastructure in an incident free, efficient, and sustainable way to deliver production targets.
Based at the Tropicana Gold Mine on an 8/6, 7/7 FIFO roster, we operate direct flights to our sites from Perth and Kalgoorlie.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Performing tasks while minimising exposure to health, safety, and environmental risks
• Identifying and eliminating hazards with a view of achieving an injury free workplace
• Operating designated fixed plant infrastructure
• Maximising plant performance by continual monitoring the plant operating conditions and plant state
• Completing area specific inspections to identify and diagnose plant and equipment deficiencies
• Operation of mobile equipment including IT loader, skid steer loaders and forklifts
