We at Clevry are looking for a Test Data Engineer Trainee for our client, Nokia Technologies to Espoo. The position we are looking to fill is a part-to-full-time role with a minimum expectation of 3-4 days per week and a fixed-term employment period of 12 months, starting in April-May 2024. The working hours are set on weekdays from Monday to Friday.
In this position the trainee will be developing and implementing data anonymization procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Trainee will choose suitable methods and tools for anonymization, considering the sensitivity of the data and its usefulness. This role also includes designing and automating the anonymization process, testing, and validating the process and creating documentation about anonymization processes, methodologies and findings for internal reference and compliance purposes.
This role is a suitable for a person who is current master’s or advanced bachelor’s student in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar relevant area and proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or scripting languages. The person also has knowledge of data anonymization techniques and tools, familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools and ability to take ownership on the assigned tasks.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data anonymization procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Choose suitable methods and tools for anonymization, considering the sensitivity of the data and its usefulness
  • Create needed data mapping documents to track relationships between original and anonymized data fields
  • Design and automate the anonymization process using scripting languages and data anonymization tools
  • Test and validate the effectiveness of the anonymization process on sample datasets
  • Document anonymization processes, methodologies, and findings for internal reference and compliance purposes

What we expect

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or scripting languages
  • Knowledge of data anonymization techniques and tools
  • Familiarity with software testing methodologies and tools
  • Ability to take ownership on the assigned tasks and drive them actively with moderate level of guidance within guidelines and policies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Fluency in both oral and written English
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
