Job Description
Role: Test Lead
Duration: 6 Months Contract with Inside IR35

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology.
  • Over 5 years of experience in the Software Testing industry, with a focus on Test Automation scripting (preferably using Appium, Selenium, Java) or Test-Driven Development (TDD), alongside Manual Testing using Zephyr/Jira API, Postman/SoapUI, and Basic Linux.
  • Extensive experience in devising test strategies for mobile applications and API testing.
  • Strong understanding of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Understanding of mobile development platforms (iOS, Android) and their ecosystems including SDKs and version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools like Jenkins.
  • Proven ability to translate user stories and acceptance criteria into effective test cases.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and various testing approaches.
  • Proficiency in Test Case Management tools, particularly Jira Zephyr API.
  • Preferred domain knowledge in Banking and Finance.
  • Certification in testing methodologies such as ISTQB or CSTE is a plus.
  • Self-organized, strong communication skills with excellent English communication skills for global team coordination.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, perseverance, enthusiasm, and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other project ceremonies.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and execute manual and automated test scripts for mobile applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
  • Provide support to developers and product owners in utilizing test management tools effectively for streamlined workflows.
  • Actively contribute to the development of new testing concepts and tools and integrate them into automated test suites.
  • Offer hands-on assistance to teams in implementing software testing processes, including end-to-end automation and API testing for mobile platforms.
  • Collaborate with international teams in Switzerland and India to synchronize testing efforts and ensure consistency across projects.
