Description:
In this role, you’ll lead a team of Business Product Owners who manage the Voice of the Customer for Dental, Vision, and Supplemental Health Solutions (SHS) Risk Management and Underwriting (RMUW) applications. You’ll work with our partners to represent the RMUW community in the development cycle (Voice of the UW), design UI/workflow, lead project work, and coordinate work across teams. You’ll be accountable for program delivery including but not limited to: (1) with Healthcare pricing, the rewrite of the current Dental rating and projection models, and (2) working with RMUW Decision Enablement to launch the SHS KPI Dashboard. A successful candidate will possess strong business and leadership skills that will enable them to appropriately manage and motivate a team responsible for executing on RMUW initiatives.
Specific responsibilities:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years of equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of experience working in the Agile Scrum methodology required
- 5+ years of experience working in the Risk Management and Underwriting organization desired
- Recent experience in new end user workflow and tool development strongly preferred
- Solid RM&UW or equivalent (Sales, Product, Pricing) business knowledge
- Commercial Medical/Pharmacy/Dental/Supplemental/Stop Loss Underwriting process and tool knowledge for u3000/o3000 segments strongly preferred.
- Highly skilled and experienced at delivery, project/program management, process management, change management, operations, and continuous improvement.
- Strong learning and organizational agility. Ability to effectively operate in an innovative, agile and dynamically changing environment.
- Ability to organize requirements and resources to assist with project needs.
- Must work well in a dynamic, multi-faceted and matrixed environment, which includes an agile team, a variety of Cigna functional areas, and external vendors
- Strong analytical, risk management, and decision-making capabilities, including the ability to effectively prioritize and select win-win solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Exemplifies teamwork and serves as a role model. Ability to successfully engage, create and facilitate collaboration across multiple functions while maintaining a high-level of credibility.
