Warehouse Associate

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate based in the Rexel Utility Newmarket branch.
The successful candidate must be a team player, energetic to accomplish all his/ her responsibilities and be motivated to succeed. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential to ensure that correct information is inputted into the computer.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 12 education (or equivalent.)
• Minimum of one year of related experience.
• Forklift experience or certificate would be an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good organizational skills.
• Computer literacy – proficient with all Microsoft Office and familiar with the AS400.
• Experience in the utility business is an added advantage.

• You will be responsible for loading and unloading shipments.
• Prepare and stack skids, sort freight.
• You will receive and verify the accuracy of incoming shipments; correctly enter incoming inventory into the AS400 computer system.
• You will maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
