Water Truck/Hydroseeder Driver Assistant

D&G Landscaping is a commercial and institutional landscaping and heavy civil construction company based in Greely, Ontario. Our projects include Parliament (West Block & Centre Block), Lansdowne Park, Rideau Street, Elgin Street, multiple OLRT Stations to name just a few. We are proud to have worked on some of the largest landscape construction projects in our nation’s capital. We are presently looking for hard-working individuals to join our growing team.
We’re looking for a Hydroseeder/Water Truck Driver helper - If you are physically fit, enjoy working outside and love landscaping, this is the role for YOU!!

Position Description:

• Combining mixture of seed, mulch, fertilizer, soil amendments, and water, and applying it evenly to the intended surface.
• Water newly planted sod, trees, and plants in city parks, and other large scale landscape projects.
• Assist driver with pulling hose across sites, traffic control, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Additional duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous labor experience in the outdoors is preferable
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) continuously through-out a 10 hour shift
• Own: Steel-toed safety shoes and hard hat
• Must provide your own transportation to and from the truck garage/base in Greely, ON
