1. Unable to find relevant jobs on the ‘Find Jobs’ pageAns: In case you are not able to find relevant jobs on the Find Jobs page. It could be because of one or more of the following reasons
- You might be searching for a keyword not related to the Job you are looking for
- There might be a spelling mistake in the keyword being searched for
- There are no jobs for that category on the website < in which case, please use the LiveChat/Feedback button to report the same
Ans: Login to the Jobsite and click on ‘My Resume’. Your complete profile would be displayed to you. Please click on the edit option corresponding to the segment you would like to edit, and the page will display the form where you would be able to edit the details of that segment in your Profile.
3. How can I apply to jobs?Ans: Login to the Jobsite and click on ‘Find Jobs’. The complete list of active Overseas jobs would be displayed to you. Please search for the job that matches your profile by using the search bar on the top and the filters on the left. Once found please click on ‘View Job’ and click on ‘Add to Wishlist’. Now please click on ‘My Wishlist’ and click on the Apply button to apply to the particular Job
4. How do I find out my Premium membership durationAns: Once you login to the Jobsite, right under your name on the right side Top corner of the page, you would be able to see the text “Premium Membership valid until:” followed by the Date of expiry of the Premium Membership.
5. How do I reach out to Y-Jobs teamAns: In case of any Doubts or queries, please use the Feedback button on the Jobsite to submit your inputs
6. What are the benefits I get as a Premium Member on Y-Jobs?Ans: As a Premium you would be able to enjoy all the below mentioned benefits
- Apply to an unlimited number of jobs on the Jobsite
- Tagged as a Premium Member in the ‘Find Experts’ list, which is viewed by employers while searching for candidates
- Appears top in the ‘Find Experts’ search results in case the searched keyword matches the user’s profile
- Employers can directly contact the PM using the ‘Contact Candidate’ button on the user’s profile

Ans: Please check if you are typing in your username and password correctly. In case still facing an error, please try resetting your password using the ‘Forgot Password’ option. 8. How to submit Feedback on Y-JobsAns: On the Y-Jobs website, every page has a Feedback float button. When you click on this button a form appears which can be used to reach out to the Y-Jobs team, for any doubts and Queries.
9. What is Premium membership and how does it affect my jobs applicationAns: Premium Membership is an upgrade on Y-Jobs, given to candidates to avail of full services on the Jobsite. By availing Premium Membership services you would be able to apply to an unlimited number of Jobs on the Jobsite for 1 year. 10. How do I reset my Password?Ans: Please open https://jobs.y-axis.com and click on ‘My Y-Axis’ and click on ‘Sign In’. Now please click on the option ‘Forgot Password’.
The Jobsite will now prompt you to enter your email ID, please enter your email ID and submit. Once done you will receive a mail with the link to reset your password. Please use this link to reset your password.
11. What are the facilities I get as a Basic member of Y-JobsAns: As a basic candidate on the Jobsite. You would be able to avail all the below benefits
- Browse Active Overseas Jobs
- Compare and update your profile on the 'Find Experts' page
- Your First 10 Overseas job applications are free
Ans: In the emails sent from the Y-Jobs you would be able to see an Unsubscribe link in the footer. Please click on it in case you wish to stop receiving emails from Y-Jobs.
13. How to request to add Jobs of a specific categoryAns: In case you are not able to find relevant jobs on the Find Jobs page. It could be because of one or more of the following reasons
- You might be searching for a keyword not related to the Job you are looking for

- There are no jobs for that category on the website < in which case, please use the LiveChat/Feedback button to report the same.
Ans: Please open https://jobs.y-axis.com and click on ‘My Y-Axis’ and click on ‘Sign In’. Now please click on the option ‘Forgot Password’.
- The Jobsite will now prompt you to enter your email ID, please enter your email ID and submit. Once done you will receive a mail with the link to reset your password. Please use this link to reset your password.
- In case you are still not receiving the link to your mail, please check your junk mail. If still not found, please use the LiveChat/Feedback button on the Jobsite to report the issue to the Y-Jobs team.

16. Need help with the Job search on the Y-Jobs websiteAns: The ‘Find Jobs’ page uses a simple search process to search the text written in the search bar on the top. You can parallelly also use the filters on the left to further narrow your search results. In case you need further help using the ‘Find Jobs’ page, please use the LiveChat/Feedback Chat button to reach out to the Y-Jobs team.
17. Can candidates contact an EmployerAns: Candidates can only Apply to jobs posted by employers, once applied the candidate details are sent to the employer who can take the process forward in case the employer is interested in the Candidate’s profile.
18. Unable to upload my resumeAns: If you are unable to upload your resume, it could be because of file name/size of the file is too large. Shortcut the file name and upload your resume on Jobsite. If you still face the same use LiveChat/Feedback to connect with Y-jobs Team.
19. Unable to update my work experienceAns: If you are unable to update your work experience, there might be a conflict in the duration of your work experience in terms of the date and month in the previous company. Make sure to add the exact date and month of the work experience or Re-enter the date and month and save again.
20. How can I update my Expertise/Skills?Ans: Click on the "My Resume" page, and select the Experience field. You can add your skills and select the level with "Expert" and then your skills will be added to the Expertise section.
21. Unable to share my resume through Resume ZapperAns: If you are unable to Zap your resume, check the below steps.
- Check whether the resume is uploaded in a correctly formatted file
- Authorize your Gmail in account settings, while authorizing make sure to select the option "send Email on your behalf" and continue.
- Go to the "Find Employers" page, select industry-wise Employers, and zap your resume with a single click on the "Add to zapper" button.
Ans: As you are a Premium Member, you are applying for unlimited open Jobs within the validity of 1 year(use the search Jobs/Find Jobs option).
Using Resume Zapper, you are directly connecting with the Global Employers by zapping your resume to them(use the "Find Employers" page).
23. Which Mail Id do I need to authorize for Resume Zapper?Ans: Authorize only your Gmail account then only you can zap your resume to the Employers. If you are unable to authorize your Gmail, use LiveChat/Feedback option on Jobsite to reach the Y-Jobs team.
