Name of the position: Senior ERP Functional Consultant Location: Coimbatore/ Chennai/ Bengaluru No. of resources needed : 01 Mode: Contract (3 Months possible extension) Years of experience: 15+ Years Shift : UK Shift Role Overview We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Infor SyteLine (CloudSuite Industrial) with deep functional mastery of Finance (GL, AP, AR, Costing) and Order-to-Cash. The primary objective of this role is to provide expert-level support, optimization, and configuration for our core manufacturing and financial operations. Additionally, as we evolve our technology landscape, experience mapping SyteLine business logic to SAP (S/4HANA / Public Cloud) is highly preferable. You will serve as the "SyteLine Guardian," ensuring our data integrity is flawless while helping us prepare for future integration or migration initiatives. Key Responsibilities 1. SyteLine Functional Expertise (Finance & Operations) Deep Financial Configuration: Lead the advanced configuration of SyteLine General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. Manage complex multi-site financial setups and multi-currency consolidations. Advanced Costing & Valuation: Serve as the definitive authority for SyteLine Costing (Standard, Actual, and Job Costing). Diagnose and resolve complex WIP variances, purchase price variances (PPV), and overhead allocation discrepancies. Order-to-Cash Optimization: Architect the Customer Service and Order Entry workflows. Configure complex pricing matrices, progressive billing, and RMA processes to ensure seamless revenue recognition. Month-End Precision: Lead the Finance team through month-end closing processes, troubleshooting sub-ledger mismatches (AP/AR/Inventory) to ensure they tie out strictly to the GL. 2. Business Process & Data Analysis Process Improvement: Audit existing SyteLine workflows to identify inefficiencies in the "Order to Cash" and "Procure to Pay" cycles. Gap Analysis (Future Readiness): Identify functional areas where SyteLine’s "Job-based" logic is unique. Preferable: Assist in analyzing how these processes would translate to an SAP environment. Documentation: Create detailed, audit-ready documentation and User Guides for Order Entry and Finance teams. 3. Implementation & System Health Configure System Parameters, Transaction Types, and Reason Codes to strictly enforce business rules. Lead "Conference Room Pilots" (CRPs) to test new configurations or patches before deployment. Qualifications Required Experience (SyteLine Expertise is Key) Deep Functional Experience: 7+ years of hands-on, deep functional consulting experience with Infor SyteLine (v9, v10, CSI). Module Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Costing, and Order Entry. You must be able to demonstrate exactly how a specific shop floor transaction impacts the General Ledger credits and debits. Cost Accounting: Strong grasp of manufacturing accounting principles (WIP, COGS, Overhead allocation) within a discrete manufacturing environment. Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot "unsolvable" balancing errors or data corruptions within the SyteLine application. Preferred Skills (SAP Migration Experience) SAP Exposure: Experience working in an environment involving SAP S/4HANA (On-premise or Public Cloud) is a strong plus. Migration Experience: Prior experience mapping data from SyteLine to SAP (e.g., Chart of Accounts mapping, Customer Master cleansing) is highly desirable. Data Harmonization: Ability to align SyteLine Unit Codes to SAP Cost Centers/Profit Centers. Technical Skills: Knowledge of Infor Mongoose form personalization or SQL for data querying. Certifications: CPA, CMA, or Infor Functional certifications. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
