What You'll Be Doing Oversee daily dispatch operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials. Monitor schedules and adjust resources to meet customer and operational needs. Collaborate with drivers and plant personnel to resolve issues quickly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, routes, and performance metrics. Manage two direct reports and drive continuous improvement in safety, service, and operational efficiency. What Are We Looking For Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and leadership capabilities to manage and motivate teams. Proficiency in dispatch systems and technology for scheduling and tracking. Commitment to safety and compliance with company and regulatory standards. Ability to build positive relationships with internal teams and external customers. Essential Experience and Skills A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a related industry, combined with thorough knowledge of aggregates or construction materials, is required. Strong leadership abilities with clear, concise, and respectful communication skills. Ability to maintain composure and professionally present information, responding effectively to questions. Proficiency in Windows-based programs, JWS, and SAP systems. Bilingual in Spanish; customer service and sales experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent; college degree or additional training preferred. Work Environment This role operates in a dynamic environment that includes office and plant settings, requiring frequent interaction with drivers and operational staff. Physical Demands Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer or dispatch station. Occasional standing, walking, and reaching within office and plant environments. May require lifting up to 25 pounds for office or operational materials. Frequent use of hands for typing, phone communication, and radio dispatch equipment. Ability to work in varying temperatures when visiting plant or yard areas.
