School District 8 (Kootenay Lake) is nestled in the Southeast corner of British Columbia. Trafalgar Middle School is looking for a gr 9 French Immersion Math and Science teacher to join our high functioning team.
Includes les sciences, leducation a la carriere, leducation physique et la sante, English and Math for two cohorts of French Immersion 9. The successful applicant will have demonstrated successful classroom experience in an intermediate classroom. It is expected that the successful applicant will work with and follow the school based team plans for inclusion of all students, behavior expectations, and continue to implement whole school wide programs related to school and district strategic plans. The awarded applicant will be energetic, collaborative and organized individual and is committed to student learning.
The successful candidate is expected to plan, prepare and present curriculum related to intermediate grades and apply current pedagogy to support student success.
