Job Title:  1:1 Aide                                  Department:  Day School Treatment Program   Position Summary: Provide individualized student support in behavior management, academics, and daily routines under the guidance of the educational team. Assist with implementing curriculum and IEPs in a supportive, inclusive manner. This is a full-time, 12-month position requiring flexibility for team meetings, parent communication, and professional development. We offer medical, dental and vision plan insurance effective the first of the month following hire date, flexible spending accounts, wellness program, employee assistance program, a 403B retirement plan, & several more offers.    Compensation $17.00/hour   Hours/Schedule Monday - Friday 7:45a - 2:45p   Professional Development Opportunities Gateway Longview has a strong investment in developing the future leaders of the organization through trainings, advancement opportunities, and a formal leadership pipeline.   Position Specific Duties/Responsibilities: * Support the effective implementation of student behavioral plans in collaboration with the educational team. * Implement therapeutic interventions in alignment with Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training and student treatment plans. * Maintain regular, professional communication with teachers and related service providers regarding student progress and concerns. * Provide individualized and small-group academic support based on teacher direction and student IEP goals. * Actively supervise assigned student(s) to ensure safety, engagement, and compliance with IEPs and behavior support plans. * Assist in maintaining a supportive classroom environment, including preparing displays, organizing activities, transporting students, and engaging families in coordination with the teacher. * Participate in required training and professional development opportunities. * Accurately complete documentation of behavioral incidents, interventions, and other observations in a timely manner. * Other duties as assigned   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail * Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team * Experience or comfort working with students with Students with diverse learning needs * Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment * Ability to utilize physical restraints in accordance with safety protocols youth after successful completion of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training   Qualifications * U.S. High School Diploma * Pertinent experience and/or training * Valid New York State driver’s license   An EEO/AA Agency We want to emphasize that the preferred qualifications are not required and that we are committed to helping our future colleagues develop these preferred skills.
