Role: 1:1 Behaviour mentor for SEN pupils
Location: Exeter
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (subject to school variation)

Are you dedicated to supporting young learners with challenging behaviours? Do you have a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of students who require additional support? We are currently seeking compassionate and committed Teaching Assistants to join our team at a specialized school in Exeter.
Experience in a teaching role is not required!

Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored one-to-one or small group support to students with SEND, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential life skills.
  • Driving role - will be transporting pupils to and from school sites with own means of transport
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs (Special Educational Needs Coordinators) to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and strategies that support student progress.
  • Offer emotional and social support, fostering confidence and independence in students with autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and other additional needs.
  • Support with personal care tasks where required, ensuring the dignity and well-being of each child.
  • Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual needs, promoting an inclusive educational experience.
