SCHOOL NURSE – REGISTERED NURSE (RN) | FULL TIME | SEATTLE, WA | 2025–2026 SCHOOL YEAR

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a School Nurse for the 2025–2026 school year in Seattle, Washington. This is a full-time, in-person 1-1 position serving students across the district. Job Highlights:

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and IHPs
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation
  • Communicate with family regarding student health needs
  • Collaborate with school staff, special education teams, and administrators
  • Participate in IEP or 504 plan meetings when appropriate
  • Health needs may include: trach, g-tube, medication administration, ADLs, seizure monitoring, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State RN license or LPN license (Compact Multi-State Nursing Licenses are also accepted)
  • School Nursing ESA a plus but not required
  • Fingerprinting and background check required prior to start
  • Previous experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or public health preferred
