Description

FULL-TIME | TERM TIME ONLY | £120 - £130 PAYE PER DAY | SEPTEMBER START

Tired of noisy classrooms? Looking for a role where you can work one-to-one and really make a difference?
We’re looking for experienced Teaching Assistants, Tutors, or HLTAs to step into a unique outreach teaching role supporting students who can’t currently attend school due to Autism, anxiety (EBSA), SEMH, or other additional needs. You’ll work outside the classroom, in pupils’ homes or community settings across Kingston and Richmond, helping young people re-engage with learning on their terms.
This full-time, term-time role offers £120–£130 PAYE per day, full training, and flexible, independent working with loads of support from a brilliant SEND service.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE: WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Providing 1:1 teaching sessions to pupils unable to attend school due to SEND, EBSA, or medical needs
  • Planning and delivering lessons that follow the national curriculum, adapted to meet individual learning needs
  • Supporting emotional regulation and building trust through a consistent, trauma-informed approach
  • Travelling across Kingston and Richmond to provide tuition in different settings
  • Working independently while collaborating with professionals and contributing to student progress reviews

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT:

  • Experienced Teaching Assistants or HLTAs seeking a more independent and impactful position
  • Individuals who are passionate about personalised education and re-engaging pupils in learning
  • Those interested in outreach education, EBSA, alternative provision, or reintegration support
