Job Scope:

• Perform installation of electrical switches, sensors, transducers, transmitters, current transformers, alternator components, control panels, etc.
• Perform installation of engine wiring as accordance with the drawings provided
• Disassemble and assemble engine components i.e., oil pump, water pump and cylinder head, etc (Inclusive of the engine overhaul experiences)
• Perform fuel injectors installation
• Perform engine timing and valve lash adjustment
• Select, apply and maintain various service tools correctly
• Assist and perform mechanical works including installation of radiator assembly, couplings, engines, alternators, gearbox, piping, hoses, etc
• Assist and perform alignment works for radiator assembly, engine, and alternator installation
• Prepare generators for load tests
• Perform safety devices test and load test including the recording of the required parameter readings
• Perform ET tool connection onto engine to view diagnostic codes and events and file date
• Perform general servicing on engines and alternators.

Requirements:

• Possess a Nitec in related engineering discipline
• Possess 3 to 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in generators
• Knowledge of the engine and alternator systems to perform troubleshooting when problems arise
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Staring System, Marine Gearbox, AC Power Alternator, alignment, control panel.
• IT knowledge will be advantageous
• Programmable Logic Control knowledge will be advantageous

Other Information:

• Salary up to $2800/mth + OT + AWS + VB
• Benoi Sector (5 Bus Stops from Joo Koon MRT)
