Job Description
Disney Experiences (DX) Consumer Franchise Strategy team’s strategic objectives include using our unique intellectual properties to drive and sustain growth across our global businesses. Our vision is to create measurable value for the DX segment with a strategic Franchise approach that aligns with business needs and consumer insights.
The DX Consumer Franchise Strategy Associate will explore, develop and implement franchise strategies for opportunity franchises and new titles across the Disney portfolio.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, DX Consumer Franchise Strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 2 years relevant, hands-on experience in related field (e.g. market research, business analytics, strategic planning, market assessment, new product development)
  • Experience building positive inter-departmental relationships to achieve results
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Critical thinker with ability to strategically synthesize multiple insights and data sets
  • Previous work experience in marketing strategy, consumer packaged goods (CPG), advertising agency or brand management
  • Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and is a self-starter, proactive, and dependable
  • Technologically orientated (Outlook, Excel, Word, Keynote, Box)
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and comfortable navigating a matrix organizational structure

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive incremental commercial opportunities across DX by exploring and identifying new opportunities for potential and priority franchises.
  • Develop, communicate and drive long-term strategies for DX globally for priority franchises that expand audiences and drive commercial opportunity.
  • Provide guidance to DX sites/LOBs on Franchise efforts and brand/studio marketing programs to ensure alliance with overall Franchise strategy, goals and objectives.
  • Define clear, actionable, relevant Franchise KPIs and ensure Franchise efforts across DX align with and deliver against these KPIs.
  • Develop an expertise on key consumer segments and leverage insights to drive strategic recommendations.
  • Work closely with the Consumer Insights, Measurement, Analytics and Finance partners to define, monitor and analyze Franchise health and performance across DX.
  • Conduct research and develop insightful presentations to support various projects such as monitoring the competitive space.
  • Build and foster strong relationships with content partners, Studio Integrated Planning, Corporate Brand teams and Franchise teams across DX globally, to ensure effective partnership and collaboration.
  • Promote and foster best practices and knowledge sharing across DX.
  • Foster a team environment of collaboration, growth mindset, and innovative approaches to driving Franchise growth.
