REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree in administrative sciences, humanities, social sciences or other appropriate academic discipline.
  • Must be bilingual, French and English, both oral and written.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work within set deadlines.
  • Must have a critical thinking mindset and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Experience in research and analysis an asset.
  • Experience in communication an asset.
  • Experience with programs such as DonorPerfect, Constant Contact and Quickbooks an asset.
  • Must be flexible.
  • Must have the capacity to write professional reports.
  • Must have excellent computer skills, with advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must have previous experience in a culturally diverse milieu with demonstrated sensitivity and openness to cultural diversity.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Director in all duties as delegated.
  • To be responsible for Maison Elizabeth House communications; internal and external including, but not limited to, developing and maintaining its website, updating and maintaining its social media, developing and preparing any required advertising.
  • To research and / or revise policies and procedures as required.
  • To contribute to, edit and finalize the annual report.
  • To assist in preparing Board reports.
  • To assist in Maison Elizabeth House fundraising activities as required.
  • To receive and treat donation requests as required.
  • To triage, input and follow up on risk events.
  • To prepare quarterly and annual reports on Risk Management.
  • To be responsible for all aspects of our volunteer program.
  • To assist in the major clinical administrative tasks as required.
  • To perform all other related duties as requested by the Manager.
