We are looking for a Junior Modeler who will be involved in ongoing international/European research projects in the fields of climate adaptation, risk assessment, and nature-based solutions.

REQUIREMENTS
- PhD degree in Hydrology, Water Resources, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Physics or related field;
- Background and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: Hydrological Modelling, Hydraulic Modelling, Numerical Modelling, Analysis of Large Datasets, Flood Risk Assessment, GIS and Remote Sensing, Extreme Value Statistics or related topics;
- Basic quantitative and programming skills or a willingness to learn (ideally in R or Python);
- Very good knowledge of English (working language at CMCC/RAAS).
Responsibilities:
The Junior Modeler will be involved in ongoing international/European research projects in the fields of climate adaptation, risk assessment, and nature-based solutions.
