WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an early career scientist who holds a postgraduate degree (MSc, or PhD) in environmental sciences to conduct climate model simulations with the CMCC Earth System Models, post-process the output data, run basic diagnostics and handle data files. The successful applicant will join an active group producing decadal predictions operationally, conducting high-impact research on climate predictability in the framework of related European projects and multi-national collaborations and developing applications and services to support climate adaptation. This is a great opportunity for starting a career with a perspective and potential for growth in the field of climate modeling and climate predictions.
