An der Fakultät für Wirtschaftswissenschaft ist am Lehrstuhl für BWL, insb. Finanzierung und Banken eine Stelle als
Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiterin (m/w/d) // Research Assistant (m/f/d) Banking and Finance
zu besetzen.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Work on publication projects and present research results at scientific conferences
• Independent preparation and realisation of courses, mainly in English at Bachelor’s and Master’s level, possibly also at partner universities abroad
• Participation in the further development and expansion of the international networking of the FWW, in the initiation of new contacts as well as in the maintenance, intensification and, if necessary, handling of existing cooperations of the FWW with foreign universities and scientific institutions.

REQUIREMENTS PROFILE:

• A university degree with honors (diploma/master’s degree) in the field of business administration or economics, mathematical economics or a comparable course of study
• In addition to a very good English language skills, you have the ability to work in a team, a high level of motivation and social skills; International study and teaching experience is an advantage
• Interest in empirical research and quantitative research methods in the fields of finance and banking
• Knowledge of software applications such as Python, MATLAB, R, Stata or comparable analysis software
• Academic qualification

In particular, you should have previous knowledge in the following areas:

• Asset pricing
• Risk controlling
• Corporate Finance
• Banking regulation
