We’re looking for a Mobile Tech Lead to join Source Meridian About Source Meridian Source Meridian is a development software company that works to solve the industry’s most challenging problems in healthcare practices. We are laser focused on specific technologies in the healthcare and life science industries: Healthcare technology, artificial intelligence, and healthcare interoperability. About the Role We’re looking for a Tableau Business Intelligence Engineer to design, build, and maintain analytics assets (dashboards, curated data sources, and KPI definitions) on top of a serverless data pipeline. You’ll turn partner data (files/APIs/queues) into trusted, easy-to-consume insights for business stakeholders—focusing on data quality, consistency, and performance from “raw” → “standardized” → reporting. What You’ll Do • Build Tableau dashboards and interactive analytics that answer key product and business questions. • Create and maintain Tableau data sources (published sources, extracts where appropriate), including calculated fields, parameters, and reusable metrics/KPIs. • Partner with Data Engineering to shape raw / processed / standardized datasets so they are analytics-ready (clean schemas, clear grain, conformed dimensions). • Write and optimize SQL for performant queries against analytical stores (e.g., warehouse and relational DBs). • Implement data validation and reporting checks (reconciliation, freshness, completeness, anomaly detection for key measures). • Apply governance and security best practices (row-level security where needed, consistent definitions, documentation). • Manage dashboard lifecycle: requirements → build → stakeholder feedback → rollout → ongoing iteration and support. Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience building Tableau dashboards for production use (not just ad-hoc). Advanced SQL skills (joins, window functions, aggregations, performance tuning). Solid understanding of data modeling for analytics (star schemas, dimensional modeling, metric definitions, grains). Experience working with cloud data platforms and modern pipelines (ETL/ELT concepts, partitions, incremental loads). Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into clear metrics, visuals, and actionable insights. Comfortable collaborating with engineers and working with ticket-based delivery (Jira/Linear or similar). Advanced English level: C1 - C2 Nice to Have • Experience with Snowflake (performance patterns, warehouse sizing basics, clustering/partitioning concepts). • Experience with PostgreSQL in analytics/reporting contexts. • Python for analysis/automation (data checks, light scripting) and/or familiarity with Spark-based processing. • Familiarity with event-driven/serverless patterns (queues, triggers, scheduling). • Tableau Server/Cloud administration basics (permissions model, content organization, extract refresh strategies). • Healthcare / life-sciences data exposure and privacy-minded reporting practices (PHI/PII awareness).
