Strong analog and microwave background to design analog and RF RADAR subsystems. Ability to troubleshoot system and subsystem-level problems. Ability to develop chain analysis for product requirements. Understanding of frequency plans for up and down conversion. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Experience with high precision RF over Fiber, RF chain analysis, and troubleshooting is preferred. Excellent communication skills. Proficient with Office products. Experience with Ansys HFSS. Radar design experience of low-level electronics. Must be a U.S. citizen. Personnel Clearance Level: Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher. Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate. Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering or related field of study. Essential Job Duties (Not All-Inclusive): Lead a small team of hardware engineers. Follow quality procedures to comply with ISO requirements. Travel occasionally to sites. Generate requirements for RADAR subsystems based on technical and customer requirements. Design subsystems - this includes analog/RF signal integrity, control wiring, power, and thermal considerations. Develop test plans for subsystems. Test and troubleshoot system and subsystem-level problems. Be the lead hardware engineer for a project. Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000 annually.
