Position: Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant
Location: Kaneohe, HI
Pay: $17/hour
Experience: 1 year of experience in institutional laundry operations is preferred.
Education: Must have a grade school education.
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: 7 am to 3:30 pm or 10 am to 6:30 pm
Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and personal laundry.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers safely and efficiently.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, restrooms, and workspaces.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in laundry and housekeeping supply areas.
• Report any equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, or maintenance issues.
• Ensure laundry and housekeeping duties are completed according to daily and weekly schedules.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Physical ability and manual dexterity to operate all machines in the Laundry Department.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
