 POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the department Supervisor/Manager, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for taking incoming calls from customers and coordinating customer needs with the production team for on-time delivery.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide excellent customer service when on the phone and answering any general questions for our customers.  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a high level of professionalism with clients and establishing a positive rapport with every caller.  • Responsible for providing and following up on status updates and lead time concerns.  • Responsible for updating order information in our custom computer program during and after each call.  • Works closely with the production team and stays up to date with order schedules or any changes.  • Adhere to safety regulations.  • Perform other duties as assigned.   QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: • 1-2 years of customer service experience.  • Experience in Aerospace industry, a plus.  • Good computer skills and working knowledge of MS software (Outlook, Word & Excel).  • Possess good organizational skills and attention to detail.  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with team members at all levels within the organization.  ITAR REQUIREMENT: Due to ITAR regulations, this position requires that the employee must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).  PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Walking/Sitting for periods of time.  • Exposed to artificial lighting in office environment.  • Exposed to heat, noise and chemical fumes while in production areas.  • Use of office equipment (telephone, computer, fax, copiers, etc.).   We are an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
