Position: Supply Chain Assistant
Location: Durham, NC
Pay: $18/hour
Experience: Previous supply chain or related experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, information technology, marketing, or related field.
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Greene Resources is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

  • Understand manufacturing supply chain processes and requirements for sorting products and staging orders for delivery to the production line.
  • Assist with planning and conducting physical inventory.
  • Communicate and resolve supply chain issues with internal product lines.
  • Exercise ownership of managed accounts, serving as the bridge between customers, factory, R&D, support teams, suppliers, etc.
  • Oversee production and delivery schedules to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by coordinating timely deliveries.
  • Process material RMAs to return defective materials to suppliers and assist with entering work order inputs for the production line.
  • Plan required materials and purchase quantities to meet service line demand; submit work orders.
  • Ensure materials meet specifications, quality standards, and cost-efficiency requirements.
  • Plan, schedule, coordinate, and expedite material issues/products to the production floor.
  • Track and manage inventory transactions (in/out) accurately.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Data entry skills (required).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Microsoft Office 365, and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently on multiple high-priority projects.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
