Description Job Title: 19th Hole Bartender Department: Food & Beverage Reports to: F&B Manger Lower-Level Effective Date: March 2025 Job Summary: North Ridge Country Club is a private club offering our members multiple food and beverage outlets, all providing members with platinum dining experience. The 19th Hole Bar is private bar exclusively for our male members and is connected to our men’s locker room. Bartenders in the 19th Hole must be knowledgeable in alcoholic beverages and are expected to provide members with a full-service bar and food service experience with attention to privacy and the discretion of our members who enjoy the experience in this luxurious service outlet. Duties/Responsibilities: Bar set up and clean Mix traditional and creative cocktails Process payments Clean glasses and bar utensils Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift Build a rapport with regular members to create a positive atmosphere Maintain food menu knowledge Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations. Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Positive, engaging personality, and professional appearance. Basic math and computer skills. Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol (21) Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift at least 35 lbs. *In addition to afore mentioned duties and responsibilities, the 19th Hole Bartender may be required to perform additional tasks by the Director or Food & Beverage, or the Food & Beverage Manager. The 19th Hole Bartender must be professional, respectful and fair mannered at all times towards members, guests and all club staff, using discretion when taking disciplinary action, and always acting in the best interests of the club and membership.
Responsibilities
Bartenders are responsible for setting up and cleaning the bar, mixing traditional and creative cocktails, processing payments, and maintaining food menu knowledge. They must also build rapport with regular members while ensuring privacy and discretion.
