We are looking for a Surgical First Assist/Surgical Techn for our Team that is committed to clinical excellence and building a patient-centered culture. Three Crosses Regional Hospital is an advanced independent healthcare organization led by a local team of professionals dedicated to high quality patient care and being the first choice of patients and providers in the communities we serve. The surgical first assistant will interact with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and other health care staff. You will work very closely with patients. Responsibilities include before, during, and after surgical procedures. Assists in preparing rooms with appropriate instruments, sutures, supplies, medications and equipment, opens sterile supplies, sets up for procedures and maintains an orderly surgical field. Minimal Requirements * Required: High School Diploma * Required: Minimum of 1 year of SA experience in a hospital operating room or surgery center. * Preferred: Experience in General surgery, Orthopedic, Gynecology and Plastics is a huge plus  * Preferred: Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting  * Required: Current BLS * Preferred: ACLS * Required: Meet all Employee Health Requirement
