JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 1st Line Helpdesk Analyst to join a well established IT support business in Doncaster. The business have been offering IT support to customers for over 15 years, along with other technical support, and have a large client base within the UK, offering a service and package that no other IT business can offer.
The ideal candidate will have a technical background and excellent customer service skills, enabling them to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. This role is crucial in ensuring that users receive timely and efficient support, contributing to the overall productivity of the organisation. Customer service is key within this role, to ensure the reputation of the business remains strong.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st (and some 2nd) line technical support for hardware and software issues, ensuring prompt resolution of user queries.
  • Support customers with IT issues including VoIP and networking problems remote fix and support calls.
  • Carry out maintenance tasks as instructed.
  • Daily check and update all tickets assigned.
  • Prepare hardware and project work a instructed.
  • Report any customer issues and queries immediately.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with users to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
