Are you passionate about IT Support and looking for an exciting opportunity in Barnsley? Our esteemed client, a leading car dealership, is seeking a dedicated 1st Line IT Support Technician to join their vibrant Customer Support team.
Job Role: 1st Line IT Support (Hybrid Working)
Location: Barnsley, S71
Salary: Basic Salary £26,416
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week - Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm (1 hour lunch) - Rotating Saturdays: 8am - 12pm (Time taken back in lieu)
In this full-time, permanent role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our internal colleagues, providing top-notch IT support. You’ll handle everything from logging and troubleshooting calls to liaising with other departments, maintaining the highest standards of customer service.
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous experience in IT Helpdesk and customer service.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers of varying technical abilities.
Experience in a high-pressure environment.
Punctual, reliable, and an outstanding communicator.
Minimum of 1 year of IT Helpdesk experience.
Full UK driving licence and proof of right to work in the UK.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide professional IT support via phone, email, and live chat.
Log and manage support tickets, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
Perform administrative tasks such as starters and leavers checks and contract changes.
Collaborate with various departments to uphold exceptional customer care standards.
