Description

A 50m+ private sailing yacht is looking for a confident and experienced 1st mate to join the team. Currently undergoing a full yard period with survey, mast refit and paint work. The successful candidate must have solid sailing experience on 40m+ sailing yachts and hold a YM Offshore minimum. You will be responsible for running the deck and leading a team of three. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deck operations and mini-ISM are required, along with the confidence to step up and cover for the Captain when necessary. Previous diving experience, ideally PADI, would be considered a bonus. This is a single season private program running from May to early October, winter will most likely be spent in France or Italy. Qualifications required: YM Offshore minimum, previous 1st mate experience on sailing yachts bigger then 35m, dive background is a bonus Itinerary: Single season, Med based Male/female: Male DTCA Start date and joining location: October/November Package: Salary DOE, 13th month bonus, Course package after 1 year onboard
