Description Spend your summer on the water. Join Lake Lawn Resort as a 1st Mate aboard the Lake Lawn Queen and help deliver safe, enjoyable lake tours while supporting vessel operations and guest experience. Position Details Employment Type: Seasonal Shift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Weekends) Department: Marina / Recreation What You’ll Do Assist the Captain with safe operation of the tour boat Learn vessel handling, docking, and anchoring under supervision Perform navigational, dock, and safety watches as assigned Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vessel at all times Assist with emergency response and safety procedures Ensure the safety and comfort of all guests onboard Greet guests during boarding and provide friendly, engaging service during cruises Requirements What We’re Looking For Must be at least 18 years of age Previous marina, boating, or customer service experience preferred, but not required Comfortable working on and around water Strong communication skills and guest-focused mindset Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team Reliable and safety-conscious Work Environment & Physical Requirements Outdoor role on the water in varying weather conditions Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Active, high-energy environment with guest interaction About Lake Lawn Resort Located on Delavan Lake, Lake Lawn Resort offers a full-service marina and lakefront experience.
