Description Brief: Senior Watchkeeping deck officer responsible for safe passage planning in line with company requirements and to the satisfaction of the Master. Must be confident in leading the bridge team by example in compliance and best practices to ensure company vessels are operated to the highest of professional standards. Desired Requirements: Chief Officer Unlimited Certificate of Competency. Polar Code Advanced Certificate of Proficiency. All other statutory certificates commensurate with the Company Training & Certification Matrix. Experience with Polar Expedition passenger vessels. Experience working with modern integrated bridge systems, azimuth and conventional propulsion. Valid STCW Medical with no limitations. Seafarers Book of own nation or the Bahamas. Certificate of COVID-19 Vaccination. Passport valid for at least 6 months. Ability to acquire a US C1D and or any other Visa if required.
