Position: Bakery Production Associate
Location: Essex, Vermont
Pay: $17/ hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, 6am-2pm

REQUIREMENTS

• No prior bakery experience? We’ll train you!
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long shifts
• Detail-oriented with basic math skills
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player

ROLE OVERVIEW

Help bake and package fresh breads and pastries by operating industrial mixers and supporting the production line.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Weigh, measure & mix ingredients to recipe specs
• Portion, stage and rotate dough/batter
• Proof and bake pre-made items such as bread, cookies, and pastries
• Label items correctly with price, date, and description
• Monitor ovens and baking times for consistency
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness of bakery area, including counters and equipment
