Description HELP US BUILD AND MAINTAIN A CLEAN AND SAFE PLACE TO WORK! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:00am- 2:30pm Pay: $17.00/h -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- POLYWOOD® is looking for a reliable, safety-minded facilities maintenance assistant who enjoys hands-on work and keeping environments clean, organized, and welcoming. What You’ll Do: Operate Sweeper-Scrubber Equipment: Safely operate the ride-on floor sweeper-scrubber machine to maintain a clean environment, including walkways, aisles, entryways, production floors, and loading docks. Indoor Waste & Receptacle Management: Monitor, empty, and replace indoor trash receptacles to keep work areas clean and organized. Tour Preparation Support: Assist in preparing high-visibility indoor and outdoor spaces for plant tours, ensuring a polished and professional appearance for visitors and leadership. Break Area Upkeep: Maintain designated indoor and outdoor smoking and break areas by removing debris, emptying containers, and keeping the spaces clean and safe. General Housekeeping Assistance: Support additional housekeeping or light maintenance tasks such as spot-cleaning, minor equipment cleaning, organizing common areas, and helping with special facility projects. What You Bring: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs as part of routine cleaning and equipment handling. Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions including heat, cold, and seasonal weather. Experience with industrial cleaning equipment such as sweepers, floor scrubbers, and forklifts Strong safety awareness with consistent adherence to PPE requirements and safe equipment operation. Bonus Skills: Previous experience in janitorial, facilities, custodial, or industrial cleaning roles. Familiarity with manufacturing environments. Basic maintenance or repairs experience.
