About the Role: The Material Handler will assist loading and unloading the laser, as well as moving materials to and from the Fab Shop. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operating a forklift safely to transport materials, product within the facility. (from / to fab shop, paint department, production lines and warehouse.) Loading / unloading materials from laser Material handling - handle materials with care to prevent damage to items being transported and to any surrounding property (machinery, racks, support beams, etc.) Inventory management - keep accurate records of inventory movement (receipts/transfers) within each department Equipment maintenance - perform daily equipment checks, reporting any mechanical issues or problems to your supervisor Safety compliance - adhere to all safety regulations and guideline to prevent accidents, damage to property, and injuries to yourself or others Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Requirements Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma). Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and good communication skills. Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Minimum of 3 years' experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

The Material Handler is responsible for safely operating a forklift to transport materials and products between the Fab Shop, paint department, production lines, and warehouse. Essential duties also include loading and unloading materials from the laser and maintaining accurate inventory records.
