Work Qualifications: * Formal education: No specific educational requirements. * Experience: No specific experience required. * Computer Skills: Must be able to use common office software systems, computer operations relative to data entry and ERP system. * Certificates and Licenses: Royal forklift certification required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Ensure proper packaging of the parts according to contract, carrier and customer specifications. * Able to read and understand contracts and specifications. * Work in customer portals to ship items as required by contract and customer requirements * Inspect and check all paperwork for accuracy prior to shipping any parts. * Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure that packing specifications are met. * Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. * Work with various departments, especially scheduling, to communicate schedule requirements for on-time shipment. * Coordinate with packagers. * Maintain customer relations. * Package materials as required by customer specifications. * Examine contents and compare with records, such as invoices, to verify accuracy of outgoing shipments. Professional Competencies: * Strong communications skills. * Able to build and maintain positive relationships with customers. * Takes initiative to find other duties when assigned tasks are completed.
