Position Summary Engineered Products is seeking an experienced Welder I to perform high-quality MIG welding and fabrication on structural components used in pallet rack systems. The Welder I is expected to work independently, interpret fabrication drawings, and contribute to meeting production standards in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components based on established procedures and standards. Fabricate and assemble metal parts using blueprints and production specifications. Interpret welding symbols to ensure correct weld sizes, lengths, and quality. Conduct routine inspections of welds to meet quality requirements. Set up and operate welding equipment and fixtures with minimal supervision. Use measuring and layout tools (e.g., tape measure, square, gauges) for accuracy. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals. Qualifications Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Welding Certificate preferred. 1–2 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. Familiarity with fabrication tools and measuring instruments. Physically able to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods. Dependable, team-oriented, and safety-conscious.
