TODDLER ROOM MANAGER (SEND TRAINING DESIRABLE)

Location: Little Delwood, Eastleigh
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated 2-3’s Room Manager to join our growing team at Little Delwood Nursery in Eastleigh. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced early years professional to lead our toddler room, creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day running of the 2-3’s Room, ensuring high standards of care and education.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s progress.
  • Support children with additional needs, working closely with the SENCO and external professionals.
  • Oversee key person responsibilities, ensuring children’s individual needs are met.
  • Carry out observations, assessments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Mentor and support a small team of practitioners, helping them to grow and develop in their roles.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive environment where all children feel safe and valued.

What We’re Looking For

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
  • Experience working in a nursery setting, with at least 1 year in a senior or leadership role.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS and child development milestones.
  • SEND training or experience supporting children with additional needs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality early years education.
  • A warm, nurturing approach with the ability to inspire both children and colleagues.
