We have two opportunities available, one for a Maintenance Supervisor and one for a Site Works Supervisor where you will work Monday to Friday in the North Region overseeing maintenance activities across Wastewater Treatment Plants. This role focuses on operational maintenance and minor projects, with a specific emphasis on optimising plant reliability and performance. Working closely with our central operations team, you will manage ongoing maintenance operations, ensuring the smooth running of essential water infrastructure in collaboration with Sydney Water. This is an ideal opportunity for a skilled trades professional to step into a leadership role in the water industry, with the chance to work on long-term maintenance projects and advance your career. Key Responsibilities: Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities on mechanical and electrical systems utilizing internal trades and contractors. Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards across water and wastewater assets. Leading a team in daily maintenance tasks, troubleshooting, and equipment repair. Managing maintenance schedules, prioritising tasks, and ensuring timely completion of work. Liaising with Sydney Water and other stakeholders to ensure smooth maintenance operations and effective communication. About You: You come from a mechanical or electrical trades background, ideally within the water and wastewater industry. You have proven supervisory experience and the ability to lead a maintenance team. Your communication skills are exceptional, enabling you to manage stakeholder relationships effectively. Multitasking and the ability to prioritise tasks in a high-demand environment come naturally to you. You’re eager to progress your career within the essential services sector, particularly in water and wastewater management.
