About this position:
The Sanofi BioCampus in Frankfurt is one of the largest integrated sites of our globally operating healthcare company. Modern medicines for the global market are developed here. As a leading company in the healthcare sector, we strive to shape the next generation of healthcare. Our goal is to push the boundaries of computer-aided and AI-based drug development to discover groundbreaking new medicines.
At our Sanofi R&D Campus in Frankfurt, we have implemented a network of AI expert teams from various R&D functions, our Applied AI Factory R&D Germany. This network accelerates the development of novel AI applications and supports the cultural transformation of R&D Germany into a center for artificial intelligence. Our Applied AI Factory is firmly rooted in Germany’s AI ecosystem. We have established strong scientific partnerships that help us develop new AI methods to further accelerate the drug development process.
As part of the trainee program, we offer you the opportunity to gain insights into various areas of drug development and to work closely with our research teams to develop and apply novel AI applications in the development of new drugs. Our teams use artificial intelligence to analyze disease processes and identify disease proteins that a new drug can target. They also use AI to discover and optimize new drug molecules and to predict the safety and efficacy of clinical development candidates as they transition into clinical development.
