DESCRIPTION:

The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seeking a Anticipated District Wide Mental Health Clinician with the following qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Holds a Standard New Jersey Certificate - School Social Worker or School Psychologist
• Holds a valid New Jersey mental health license such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
• Has experience in working with elementary and middle school students
• Demonstrates the knowledge and understanding of child and adolescent psychopathology and its impact on learning
• Demonstrates effective communication skills

Job Goals:

• To provide intensive school based individual and group counseling
• To gather and review data to determine building specific needs as it relates to pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• To develop and monitor behavior support plans for students on their caseload
• To review Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) data and identify building specific patterns and needs to develop counseling groups
