Minimum 2 year degree required (Bachelor’s Degree preferred) or 5 years of experience. The
educational requirement can be reduced or eliminated if a candidate has a significant amount of related experience.

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and related hardware and software.
  • Ability to learn specialized equipment and software such as complex printers based on facility needs.
  • Ability to communicate ideas effectively both orally and in written form.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the general public
Responsibilities
  • Research information for new technologies and; recommends system modifications based on life cycle cost analysis.
  • Generates and updates facility policy and management plans.
  • Organizes, attends and leads meetings on a variety of topics dealing with utility management practices and behavioral training.
  • Provides analytical reports to staff and can generate informational data upon request.
  • Maintains databases for Preventative Maintenance and Capital Forecasting.
  • Establish operating standards and procedures for building systems with assistance from other department staff and/or consultants.
  • Collects and analyzes external and internal data; produces reports.
  • Generates requested or required reports.
