Responsible for the positive development of players in academics, athleticism, softball skills, and in their walk with Christ. Responsible for the stewardship of facilities and allocated budget. Expected to identify and recruit coaches into the softball program who love Christ and kids, and have a passion for softball. Mentor and train all softball coaches on a unified system that prepares players on all levels to fill their roles in the system to the best of their abilities. Expected to be actively involved in and integrated into the ministry opportunities of the school such as mission trips, service projects, and advisory groups Qualifications/Skills: Ability to organize and supervise a sports program/team Preferred previous coaching experience in assigned sport Good role model Excellent verbal communications skills Demonstrated leadership and facilitative skills Prestonwood Baptist Church member preferred Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Works in a highly stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines and a varied and diverse array of contacts Work in outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold Tasks involve the ability to exert heavy physical effort in heavy work, including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling, and lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials weighing 20 to 50 pounds Qualifications

Responsibilities

The coach will be responsible for the development and advancement of the PCA Girls Softball program, focusing on player development in academics, athleticism, and spiritual growth. They will also manage the softball program's budget and facilities while mentoring other coaches.
