There are a number of shifts for Band 5 Bank Staff Nurses across varying divisions at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. This Trust was the first trust in the country to be awarded ‘teaching hospitals’ status and we provide award winning educational programs for nursing staff. We are committed to staff development and provide encouragement and support to staff to continue their lifelong learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are looking to work for an organization which values its employees. You will work as an integral member of the team, providing a high standard of nursing care. You must be highly motivated and able to demonstrate good communication skills.
We welcome newly qualified or experienced nurses to apply who have completed their 12 month preceptorship, where you can be assured of working in an environment that values you as an individual and holds ‘care and compassion’ at the heart of everything we do.
We have 10000 fantastic people working hard to deliver quality services to our patients. Whatever your role, you help look after 370,000 people in our local area & give specialist care to 1.5 million people across Lancashire & Cumbria.
Working with us gives you the knowledge and sense of pride that every activity you do genuinely does make a difference to support our patients & staff, ensuring we keep thriving & delivering outstanding healthcare right across our local towns.
You’ll have access to varied development opportunities, learn new skills, meet fab people & do things you’d never have done.
You’ll make an impact, be challenged to think differently, be bold & help innovate to keep improving things. Everything we do centres around patient care and enhancing their experience which means your role is pivotal and something really to be proud of.
The Trust is committed to personal and professional development and to providing opportunities for education and training for all our staff. Our clinical divisions are regularly holding free CPD events throughout the year which would be accessible to you.
We constantly strive for excellence, delivering high quality patient focused care. Our nursing teams are compassionate and empathetic who take pride in the high quality care they provide to all of our patients.
