CASUAL OPPORTUNITIES – CENTRE FOR STEM EDUCATION AND INNOVATION

The Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology (SET) is a thriving centre of learning, teaching and research in a vast range of engineering and science schools and disciplines. The multidisciplinary hub develops future leaders, and actively partners with innovative industries to solve scientific problems of global significance. Many of its current academic staff are world leaders in their fields and graduates are highly regarded by employers.
The Centre for Stem Education and Innovation (CSEI) brings together education and STEM discipline experts to lead the development and delivery of critical courses. Strategically placed within the University’s Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology, CSEI’s role is to create exciting education offerings for students by drawing on the wealth of expertise across the Faculty. Our undergraduate and postgraduate courses cover core engineering and technology subjects including Mechanics Technology, Systems and Complex Systems Engineering, Programming (Matlab, C and Excel), Business Management Studies, Research Methods, Communications and Critical Thinking.

TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH THE AUSTRALIAN QUALIFICATIONS FRAMEWORK (AQF) FOR HIGHER EDUCATION, APPLICANTS WILL NEED TO HOLD A CONFERRED QUALIFICATION AT LEAST ONE LEVEL HIGHER THAN THE LEVEL BEING TAUGHT. CONSIDERATION OF EQUIVALENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE MAY BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT TO DEMONSTRATE EQUIVALENCE. PLEASE ENSURE YOU CONSIDER THIS IN NOMINATING YOUR PREFERENCES IN THE APPLICATION.
