PROGRAM SUMMARY:

The Caterpillar Oil & Gas and Marine Division (COGMD) is committed to developing talent. This program focuses on building the skills and knowledge of the future that are necessary to drive strategy alignment and growth initiatives across the respective regions.

1–3-year Developmental Program

  • Customized development plan to understand and learn Caterpillar products, organizations, and values.

Training

  • You will start your journey with a 3-month training program (called the MTC My Training Class) where you will learn about Caterpillar products, our services, and the company strategies per industry, participate in influencing skills curriculum, build and expand your network.

Rotations within Caterpillar Oil and Gas Marine Division

  • You will have an opportunity to work in various roles throughout COGMD, learning about different company initiatives and products. You will be starting your journey at SPM, a Caterpillar company, where you will be immersed into the Oil and Gas industry through customer-orientated growth initiatives, strategic planning processes, and project management. Further rotations will include supporting both sales and strategy within COGMD.

Role Progression

  • Once you exit the program, you will have accumulated sufficient experience and knowledge to drive strategy alignment and customer growth initiatives in several roles across COGMD.

Potential roles available at the end of the program

  • Sales : Support sales and services activities, encompassing responsibilities such as developing customer relationships, building loyalty, and creating opportunities that provide Caterpillar with a competitive advantage.
  • Technical Representative: Focus on increasing customer satisfaction by intimate customer alignment to understand requirements, build suitable product solutions, implementing regional product support strategies, and develop necessary technical capabilities.
  • Strategy : Support the development and execution of key business strategies to deliver exceptional customer-orientated value to the regions, value streams and contributing to overall COGMD growth goals.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires an engineering or business degree (or similar) or the equivalent experience
  • Must be willing to travel 25%-70% depending on the role
  • Be willing to live in a different country for up to 3 months for a specific rotation
  • Proficient in English
  • Experienced with working in the Middle East, and / or other focus regions
  • Must have a valid passport through May 2026
