Description

We have been providing land referencing services for projects for over 20 years and are now looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Land Referencers. To support our on-going growth, we are looking to recruit a graduate to join our team in Stafford.
Fisher German is a fast-growing, leading national firm of UK Property Consultants and Chartered Surveyors, with over 800 people across 26 offices, offering a wide range of over 20 property services lines.
Sporting competitions, charity events, CPD days, rotations, an award-winning graduate development programme - the company has a history going back as far as 1830 but that doesn’t mean we are behind the times!

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

  • Accurate recording of land referencing information in our ownership database.
  • Application of land referencing methodologies and processes to support project delivery.
  • Preparing and packaging mail merges with corresponding plans and Land Interest Questionnaires.
  • Contact referencing to include site visits alongside noticing of land.
  • Data management to include interpretation and analysis of all data associated with land and related reporting
  • Reviewing complex title documents to identify minor interests in land
  • Contributing to the preparation of the book of referenc

We are more than happy to teach you all the technical skills you need, it is your personal attributes and commitment to the role that is key. Ideally, you will:

  • Be a student from a geography, land surveying or related course
  • Be committed to professional career development to become an Associate member of the RICS
  • Have a passion and interest in the built and/or natural environment
  • Have excellent people and communication skills - both verbal and written;
  • Have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to identify and solve problems;
  • Have good attention to detail
  • Adopt a consultative approach, able to identify and solve problems;
  • Have the ability to work on multiple projects and tasks at any one time, working in a way that is highly agile and responsive to rapidly changing client and site requirements
  • Have access to transport, or be willing to do so by the time you start work, as you will often be required to travel to out of town client sites;
  • Enjoy going out and about in all weathers, travelling across the region or further afield and working outside of the normal 9-5 when required
