• Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Compliance with RCHs “Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases” procedure

THE ROLE:

• Part time (0.5 FTE), Parental leave backfill fixed term Fellow position
• 6 months, commencing 04 August 2025 – 01 February 2026

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Being the first point of call for consultations requested across the RCH related to the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases and related issues
• Being the first point of call for provision of the statewide telephone advice service for internal and external enquiries
• Provision of clinical care in the outpatient setting in a supervised capacity
• Participation in antimicrobial stewardship rounds and other AMS activities
• Participation in out-of-hours on call service, under consultant supervision
• Attendance at Gen Med and RCH educational activities
