JOB DESCRIPTION

Our apprenticeships span a range of different sectors and are based within a variety of different teams working on a wide range of projects, so as you can imagine, each role varies. You’ll be working with graduates, experienced professionals, and other apprentices so an apprenticeship with us is the perfect opportunity to learn from a variety of people while understanding our values and culture.

As a Business Administrator Apprentice your duties will include:

  • To understand and adhere to national and local Health and Safety policies & procedures
  • Project reporting: tracking and collating of project performance and delivery information and contributing to the drafting of internal reports
  • Project planning: supporting the preparation and update of project schedules and progress
  • Financial management: supporting the data input, accuracy and reporting of project budget and resource plans
  • Document control: supporting the management of documentation and transmittals to and from the client in accordance with quality control procedures
  • Day to day communication the relevant project delivery team, project controls manager and project manager
  • Support business development activities such as bid and tender preparation

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

To join us for an apprenticeship you must meet the eligibility requirements of the relevant training provider.

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4/C or above including English and Maths

We are looking for students with the following characteristics:

  • A methodical approach to problem solving.
  • The ability to use your initiative to undertake tasks efficiently and independently.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, which allow you to confidently liaise with clients and team members.
  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
